In order to comply with the Department of Health directive on Advanced Access we are changing our appointment system.

With effect from the 9th June 2003 you will be able to pre book an appointment with either a Doctor or Nurse up to one week in advance or you will be able to telephone for a routine appointment “on the day” and you should be able to see the doctor of your choice, however this is dependant on the demand for each individual doctor and whether or not they are holding a surgery.

All appointments with the doctors will be of a ten minute duration.

We believe that this system will, in the fullness of time and possibly with some adjustment, be to the betterment of both clinicians and patients.

This system is new to all of us and so we would ask for your understanding if the system does not run 100% smoothly when it first commences.
