Bike 'n Hike 2009

 ‘All Saints’ Church
had a busy day. The weather was glorious and Jean Luddington
reports ‘Twenty six riders and hikers were welcomed and offered
refreshment and a tour of the church, many more than we have had for
some years’.
An
additional attraction was a amateur radio station, operated by Victor
Brand and Paul Bradfield (Biggleswade St Andrews). They linked visitors
and church members to over fifty other participating churches and
historic sites around the country, enabling lively conversations with
vicars, church wardens, scouts and the bikers and hikers.
Grateful
thanks are due to those who manned the reception desk, provided the
refreshments and the radio station.
