The
new season of Carpet
Bowls has started. Some members did not want to / could
not play in the evening, so it has been changed to the afternoon
(Thursday 2 - 4pm) .
However as some people would like to play in the
evening it is possible that if enough people were interested we could
have both
sessions.

With
thanks to Campton Village Hall Management Committee and the provider of
the Grants we now have a Carpet Bowls club.
Carpet
Bowls is a very interesting game with fun, laughter and, of course,
competition.
Thursday
evening carpet bowls is going very well, those who
take part are very keen and interested in the game. An invitation to
join
the Gravenhurst players for a match on March 4th was readily accepted
and enjoyed by all. We are planning to visit Haynes shortly and we are
all looking forward to this. We now have another carpet in use which,
hopefully,
will attract more players. So, if you would like a good evening’s
entertainment
and the chance to meet some new friends come along to the Village Hall
on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm and join in the
fun.

Their opening night will be
played on Thursday 2nd October 2008 at Campton
Village Hall. Club nights start at 7.30pm until 10pm. New
members
are especially welcome and it is a most enjoyable evening of fun and
